High-Performance PPSU Material
Our PPSU (polyphenylsulfone) materials are the ideal choice in the high-end manufacturing field due to their excellent high-temperature resistance, chemical stability, and mechanical strength.
PPSU Exceptional Choice of High-Performance Polymer Materials
PPSU (Polyphenylsulfone) is an amorphous thermoplastic that offers excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength, widely used in fields such as medical, aerospace, automotive, and high-end consumer products.

Extreme Environment Tolerance
Able to maintain stable performance within an extreme temperature range of -100°C to +180°C, suitable for various harsh environmental applications.
The material used to manufacture surgical instrument boxes remains undistorted after 3,000 high-pressure steam sterilization cycles.
PPSU can operate stably for a long time in the temperature range of -100℃ to 180℃, and products made from it can continuously work for 18 months at 190℃ without performance degradation.
Sustainable Solutions
Recyclable and environmentally friendly, it offers your products a material choice that is both high-performance and eco-friendly.
Excellent Chemical Resistance
It has excellent resistance to most chemicals, cleaners, and solvents, maintaining stability during long-term use.
Acid and alkali resistance and compatibility with various solvents: PPSU is stable against strong corrosive media such as concentrated sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide. In 2024, the Dutch chemical company AkzoNobel used R-7800 material in reactor sealing components, running continuously for 12 months without any swelling or cracking.
Only some polar solvents can have an effect: PPSU is partially soluble in ester ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons, but completely stable against alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons. In 2025, Roche Laboratories in Switzerland used PPSU containers to store ethanol solutions, and after a 2000-hour immersion test, the strength retention rate was 98.7%.
Excellent hydrolytic resistance: It does not degrade under long-term use at high-temperature steam. In 2024, UK NHS hospitals adopted PPSU sterilization boxes to replace PC materials, and after 5000 cycles of sterilization at 180℃, no hydrolysis products were detected.
Core Physical Properties of PPSU
Good Mechanical Properties
High impact resistance
The impact strength of PPSU reaches 850 J/m, far exceeding the 600 J/m of PC. The breakage rate of PPSU baby bottles dropped from a height of 1.5 meters is only 5%, while that of glass bottles is as high as 82%.
Outstanding balance of resilience and rigidity
PPSU combines high flexural modulus (2.4 GPa) with a tensile elongation at break of 60%. The cable sheath made from this material improves vibration fatigue life by three times.
Wear-resistant and scratch-resistant
The surface hardness of PPSU reaches level H, and the vacuum cleaner cyclone separator uses PPSU. After continuous operation for 5,000 hours, the scratch depth is less than 0.01mm, which does not affect air tightness.
